PICK UP TIME-7.00 AM
7.00 A.M starts drive from Kandy (from the place you stay), Passing trough industrial suburb of Kandy, the largest Victoria reservoir, Kandyan home gardens, terrace rice fields, mid country tea plantations, exotic wood reforests. (according to the whether, rain and mist you could select the below options before start)
Option: 01. Around 9.30 A.M, Start trekking up to the Knuckles summit on a trail through tea plantation, pygmy forest, cloud forests, and plateau with grassland. Endemic birds, mammals, fresh water creatures in crystal clear water streams. Enjoy the panoramic view at the Knuckles Summit with all around the jungle. Around 01. P.M Have picnic lunch and walk back to the place where vehicle parked. Back to Kandy in the evening around 5 to 6.00 P.M
Option: 02. Around 9.30 A.M, Start trekking up to the Leopard rock on a trail through tea plantation, pygmy forest, cloud forests, and plateau with grassland. Endemic birds, mammals, fresh water creatures in crystal clear water streams. Visit the highest cascade in Sri Lanka (hightst step waterfall). Enjoy the panoramic view at the Knuckles mountian from Leopard rock. Around 01. P.M Have picnic lunch and walk back to the place where vehicle parked. Back to Kandy in the evening around 5 to 6.00 P.M
Option: 03. Around 9.30 A.M, Start trekking up to the Corbert’s Gap viewpoint on a trail through tea plantation, pygmy forest, cloud forests, and plateau with grassland. Endemic birds, mammals, fresh water creatures in crystal clear water streams. Enjoy the panoramic view at the Corbert’s Gap viewpoint with all the way thick jungle and mountain around 01. P.M. Have lunch and walk back to the place where vehicle parked. Back to Kandy in the evening around 5 to 6.00 P.M
Option: 04. Around 9.00 A.M, Start trekking from a historical village with panoramic views of large terrace rice, vegitable fields, Kandyan home gardens, tea plantation and second generation forests up to base camp with Endemic birds, mammals, fresh water creatures in crystal clear water streams. Around 01. P.M have lunch at the base camp and trekking down to a tea plantation with the view of Victoria reservoir and walk back to the place where vehicle parked. Back to Kandy in the evening around 5 to 6.00 P.M
